About us

We are now back to meeting normally .

The Rotary Club of Axminster was chartered in 1959 and is an off-spring of the former Rotary Club of Honiton some eleven miles to the west. The normal meeting day is every Friday at 1.00pm at the Conservative Club in Trinity Square just opposite the Minster church .

We occasionally meet at the same venue on a Thursday evening starting at 6pm  with partners and a speaker.

We suggest visitors should contact the Secretary -  Martin King on 01 460 220319 or Mw.king9@icloud.com to confirm details and book a lunch as catering is carried out to order.

We currently have a membership of 18: we are a friendly, informal club where traditional Rotary values and humour are the order of the day. We run a varied programme of speakers and events. Visitors are always made to feel most welcome and we are sure will enjoy both our fellowship and food. We look forward to meeting you.

Equally, potential new members are cordially invited to come and meet us.

Our major goals for 2022/23 are:

To get back to normal activities post Covid.

To support all District Foundation initiatives with particular emphasis on the worldwide eradication of Polio.

To support our local community in all facets of local life.

To have fun and "Engage Rotary".
